Live Nation Names Dave Kochbeck Senior Vice President of Interactive Technology

LOS ANGELES, Mar 24, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Live Nation (NYSE:LYV), a leading live content and distribution company, has announced the appointment of Dave Kochbeck to the position of SVP of Interactive Technology at the company. Based in San Francisco, Mr. Kochbeck will be responsible for strategic development of Live Nation’s online presence.

Prior to joining Live Nation, Kochbeck was the Head of Technology for Friendster, the first major online social networking service, where he oversaw the expansion of that service from 13 million to 26 million registered users. Mr. Kochbeck also served as National Director of Information Technology for Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential campaign, where he and his team developed and deployed the first major candidate blog and implemented the first significant online fundraising effort.
