LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Live Nation (NYSE: LYV), the world’s leading live music company, today announced the appointment of concert industry veteran Neil Jacobsen to the newly created position of President of Live Nation Miami. As President of Live Nation Miami, Mr. Jacobsen will oversee all of the company’s concert booking, marketing and promotion in the state of Florida, focusing on Tampa and Miami, which are among the top 25 markets in the United States.

Mr. Jacobsen has been an integral part of Live Nation’s Philadelphia office since 1995, most recently serving as Executive Vice President. For more than ten years, Mr. Jacobsen worked alongside Live Nation President and Electric Factory founder Larry Magid, promoting concerts in the Philadelphia Area for the biggest names in music. Prior to joining Electric Factory, Mr. Jacobsen worked at MCA Concerts where he was instrumental in developing the storied Gorge Amphitheatre outside of Seattle, Washington. He began his career in 1977, working with industry icon Don Law in the Boston market until 1991, eventually rising to Vice President of Booking and Marketing.
