Miami Beach City Commission Awards Live Nation Contract to Operate, Manage and Exclusively Book Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater

Deal Expands Live Nation’s Fillmore Venue Brand to Sixth Major Market in U.S.

LOS ANGELES, June 4, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ — Live Nation (NYSE: LYV), the world’s largest live music company, announced today that the Miami Beach City Commission voted unanimously to award Live Nation a 10-year agreement with a 5-year extension option to operate, manage and exclusively book the 2,700 capacity Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater. The deal gives the company an important mid-sized live music venue in the key south Florida music market.

“We are looking forward to bringing the people of Miami Beach a wide variety of world class musical talent to this beautiful venue for many years to come,” said Bruce Eskowitz, Live Nation Chief Executive Officer North American Music.

“The agreement validates Miami Beach’s position as a center for arts and culture,” said Miami Beach City Manager Jorge M. Gonzalez. “Not only will Live Nation bring top performing artists to our city, but it will also financially support the facility and provide additional contributions. Our residents, who told us that they wanted more live concerts, should be very excited.”

Live Nation currently expects to invest $3.5 million to make improvements to the venue which will include the addition of food and beverage facilities and a VIP seating and lounge area. In addition, wood flooring will be installed in the main music hall, giving the venue a variable configuration of general admission and reserved seating. An overhaul will also be made to the sound and lighting equipment. The renovations will begin immediately and it is expected that the music venue will re-open for business in the fall of 2007.

The addition of Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater is an important step in Live Nation’s ongoing effort to establish universal music venue brands that connect with artists and fans. The Miami Beach venue extends Live Nation’s Fillmore brand to six major markets in the U.S., and complements its 11 House of Blues-branded small-sized music venues around the country.
