The Jonas Brothers appeared on the popular daytime program, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, on Monday to kick-off their first headlining tour. A guest from the audience was selected to travel with the band on a private jet en route to a surprise appearance in Dallas for adoring fans at the Nokia Theater box office the day tickets went on sale. The band joined thousands of fans in frigid weather to perform their hits “Year 3000,” “Hello Beautiful” and “S.O.S.”

The Jonas Brothers self-titled Hollywood Records album was co-written by the band and debuted at # 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. Their single “S.O.S.” shot straight to the top of iTunes and the video was constantly on MTV’s TRL Countdown. The band is currently in the studio preparing for their much anticipated 3rd album. They have co-written the entire album and its being produced by John Fields. The album is scheduled to be released in July 2008.
