Due to Overwhelming Demand Roger Waters Adds 12 Shows to His Historic Tour Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of The Wall Album

Additional shows for the Live Nation produced tour have been added and went on sale today in Toronto, Boston, Montreal, Fort Lauderdale, San Jose, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nassau Coliseum and the Izod Center. In addition, a newly added date in Philadelphia at the Wachovia Center goes on sale May 14th and in Los Angeles, Chicago and Anaheim tickets go on sale May 17th. Complete itinerary below.

The Wall has been previously performed live in its entirety by Waters just 31 times including Pink Floyd’s 1980-81 tour in support of the album. A spectacular Roger Waters solo staging and performance of the rock opera in July 1990, celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall, drew nearly a half million fans to the Potsdamer Platz. Originally released in November 1979, The Wall was America’s top-selling album of 1980, and is still in the US Top 5 best-selling albums of all time.

The New York Times (March 2, 1980) declared that “The Wall show remains a milestone in rock history, it will be the touchstone against which all future rock spectacles must be measured.”
