We have teamed up with Toyota and Yahoo! to provide fans with original content featuring emerging artists at select Toyota-sponsored music festivals across North America and live streams of event performances on the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo!
For the upcoming Voodoo Music + Arts Experience held in New Orleans over the Halloween weekend (Fri., Oct. 30 – Sun., Nov. 1), Toyota will have a prominent presence at the festival. The Toyota Music Den will showcase live performances and Toyota vehicles; Down Side Up Twisted by Toyota, will feature two Toyota vehicles and free custom screen printed Voodoo festival posters; and proceeds collected from the “Wishing Tree” will be donated to a New Orleans school, and wrap with a performance from Voodoo artist Santigold.
Multiple stages at Voodoo will also stream live on the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo!
Fans — whether by attending or by tuning into the live stream from anywhere in the world — are in for another action-packed three days of Voodoo. Mesmerizing headliners will grace the stages, including Florence + The Machine and Jack Ü On Friday; Ozzy Osbourne featuring Geezer Butler, Tom Morello and Slash on Saturday; and Zac Brown Band and Deadmau5 on Sunday. Aside from these acts and an additional 70+ artists to check out, there will also be massive interactive art installations and cuisine and culture, inspired by the historic city of New Orleans.
Toyota has sponsored other noteworthy Live Nation-produced festivals, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and Nocturnal Wonderland in Los Angeles.
Since 2014, Yahoo! and Live Nation have worked together to make the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo! a leading destination for online live music events, resulting in 135 million streams worldwide last year alone.
