Live Nation today officially announced its first ever coastal outdoor venue in the Carolinas, the Riverfront Park Amphitheater. The new state-of-the-art boutique amphitheater is nearing its completion, located downtown alongside the Cape Fear River in Wilmington, North Carolina. The brand new venue will provide premier live entertainment in the newly developed Riverfront Park located on the banks of Cape Fear River.
Riverfront Park Amphitheater is planned to open later this year, hosting live music, comedy and other events. The first shows announced at the venue include:

The amphitheater is part of a multi-million dollar 6.6. acre city park consisting of greenspace, boardwalks, fountain walks and beautiful river views. The Riverfront Park Amphitheater will include numerous amenities for area residents and tourists including lawns, a playground & interactive water feature for children, and trails & gardens.
The 7,200-capacity concert venue is managed by Venue Nation, which includes 2,400 seated and 4,800 on the lawn. The site also includes rooftop VIP areas, adjacent views of the Cape Fear River, and plenty of purchase points for food & beverage on-site. The facility will feature state-of-the-art sound, event lighting and large screen image amplification in a natural outdoor setting.
The venue will also bring a wide array of new job opportunities to the area. Those interested in positions at Riverfront Park Amphitheater can attend the upcoming job fairs on Saturday, May 8th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or Saturday, May 22nd, from 10:00 AM -2:00 PM located at 14 Harnett Street in Wilmington. Positions include but are not limited to Security, Ushers/Ticket Takers, Cleaners, Concessions / Bartenders, and VIP Hosts.
