The Avett Brothers – July 14
Two brothers make up the heart and soul of The Avett Brothers, an American folk-rock band from Concord, North Carolina. Seth and Scott Avett teamed up to combine bluegrass, country, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, indie rock, honky tonk and ragtime to shake up the music scene. Since 2002, they have released ten albums and three EPs. They have been named Duo/Group of the Year three different times and nominated several other times. Seth Avett plays the guitar, piano, and hi-hat, while his brother Scott plays banjo, guitar, piano and kick-drum. They share lead vocals and are backed by bassist and violinist Bob Crawford, cellist Joe Kwon, drummer Mike Marsh, fiddler Tania Elizabeth and pianist Bonnie Avett-Rini. Hit songs include “I and Love and You” and “Another is Waiting.”

Jason Mraz and his Super Band with Lawrence – July 17
Jason Mraz & His Superband
When you think 2000’s pop, chances are you think of Jason Mraz and his many chart-topping hits, like “I’m Yours” and Grammy Award winning “Lucky” with Colbie Caillat. This singer/songwriter and guitarist is no stranger to awards and recognition for his catchy tunes since his debut album Waiting for My Rocket to Come (2002)–claiming two Grammys, two Teen Choice Awards, a People’s Choice Award, and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award. This is act you will not want to miss at BECU Live this summer.

Lawrence
The soul-pop sibling duo Lawrence makes their debut appearance at Northern Quest Resort & Casino alongside pop all-star Jason Mraz this summer! Clyde and Gracie Lawrence decided to form their eight-piece band, comprised of friends from childhood and college, after pulling inspiration from their musical role models, including Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin. Lawrence first rose to prominence in 2016 after releasing their debut LP Breakfast (2016), and have since released their latest album Hotel TV. This 2021 release has garnered tens of millions of streams across all platforms and has had multiple viral moments on TikTok and Instagram.

Ghost with Amon Amarth – August 5
Ghost
Swedish rock band Ghost is well known for their heavy metal hits such as “Mary On A Cross,” “Square Hammer,” and “Dance Macabre.” Arguably more well-known is their eccentric on-stage presence, featuring identical, face-concealing costumes. Ghost’s song “Ritual” was chosen by British weekly magazine Kerrang! as one of “The 50 Most Evil Songs Ever.” Come experience the spectacle for yourself at Ghost’s debut performance at BECU Live this summer!

Amon Amarth
Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth returns to Northern Quest Resort & Casino to perform their top hits, such as “Twilight Of The Thunder God” and “Raise Your Horns.” Formed in 1988 as previous grindcore band Scum, Amon Amarth has spent decades refining their music and ultimately becoming the heavy metal leader they are today.

Young the Giant with Milky Chance – August 8
Young the Giant
Since debuting in 2010, indie-rock group Young the Giant has captivated audiences nationwide with its optimistic sound. The band quickly found success with its first three singles, “Cough Syrup,” “My Body,” and “Apartment,” which all charted on the US Alternative Songs chart. Since then, the group has released five studio albums, including American Bollywood in 2022. Telling the life story of Young the Giant’s frontman, Sameer Gadhia, the new release blends modern indie rock and ancient Indian instrumentation to create a cinematic song suite.

Milky Chance
Milky Chance German alt-rock duo Milky Chance incorporates elements of folk, reggae, and jazz into their music for a unique, feel-good sound. After meeting in school, group members Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch began writing songs and uploading them to YouTube, where they gradually gained a following. In 2013, the duo released “Stolen Dance” which quickly became a viral hit, racking up millions of views. Now, Milky Chance has embarked on several world tours, played at Coachella, and been nominated for a string of awards.

Foreigner – September 22
If you want to know what love is, just ask the millions of Foreigner fans who’ve been with them for the past 45+ years. And with 15 million streams per week, over 300 million YouTube views, and exposure through film, TV, video games, and advertising, their audience is sure to expand for generations to come. One of the most formidable groups in the history of rock and roll, Foreigner embarks on The Historic Farewell Tour this summer. Join the record-breaking group, led by the incomparable Mick Jones, for a night that can’t be missed.

Dan & Shay – September 23
In just ten years since the release of their first album, Dan + Shay have garnered multiple Grammy, CMA, ACM, American Music, and Billboard Music Award wins and nominations. Now one of the most influential acts in the country-pop genre, Dan + Shay have surpassed five billion career streams with hits like “Speechless” and “Tequila.” Their multi-week No. 1 hit “10,000 Hours” (with Justin Bieber) racked up the biggest first-week streaming total in country music history and was the first song by a country duo or group to ever debut in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 5.
