Both bands are commemorating 20 years of making rock history with releases that celebrate their important musical legacies. Poison, who have sold more than 25 Million records worldwide to date, is releasing today a new hits CD, The Best of Poison: 20 Years of Rock. Then on May 23, an expanded, limited edition CD/DVD, The Best Of Poison 20 Years of Rock — Deluxe Tour Edition will be released just as the band is preparing for their summer trek.
On April 25, Cinderella will release Cinderella: Gold, a 2-CD set of the band’s hits, which highlights the strength of the band’s three multi-platinum albums, illustrating to rock fans everywhere of their undeniable place in rock history.
“Poison is bringing the kind of the kind of summer tour package that rock fans have been waiting for,” said Live Nation Senior Vice President of Touring, Bruce Kapp. “We are so happy that both Poison and Cinderella decided to spend their 20th birthdays on the road — it’s a terrific tour at a great price.” To coincide with the bands’ 20th anniversaries, and keeping with Poison’s tradition of staying loyal to their music and their fans, lawn tickets for each of the outdoor amphitheatre dates will be priced at $20 or under.
Joining the two bands on a majority of the dates is the Sacramento-based active rock quartet EndeverAfter who have been described as the new wave of Hard Rock ‘n’ Roll. Newly signed to Sony Music, the band is honored to be on tour with musicians that inspired their sound.
