Live Nation’s BLENDER THEATRE AT GRAMERCY will host more than 250 live music performances annually, booked directly by Live Nation. Like the eclectic music style that New York is famous for, BLENDER THEATRE AT GRAMERCY performances will be a celebration of the rock, soul, hip-hop, folk and alternative music from the world’s brightest stars. Performances scheduled at the BLENDER THEATRE AT GRAMERCY feature an array of talent that already includes Rufus Wainwright, Grant Lee Phillips, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Knitters, Lacuna Coil, Bebel Gilberto and Jedi Mind Tricks.

“To align New York City’s hippest new music venue with one of the coolest music magazines around, makes perfect sense for us,” said Bruce Eskowitz, Live Nation’s Chief Executive Officer of North American Music. “We look forward to a long affiliation with Blender as we continue to bring live music’s hottest acts to the city in an incredible new music venue.”

“We are delighted to enter into this unique relationship with Live Nation,” said Stephen Colvin, Chief Executive Officer of Dennis Publishing. “It provides us the opportunity to bring to life that which, in just 5 short years, has established Blender as the ‘must read’ music magazine — a passion for new and emerging artists across all modern music genres.”

The opening evening at THE BLENDER THEATRE AT GRAMERCY, exclusive to NYC tastemakers and press, will kick off at 8:30 p.m., featuring rock icon David Johansen of the New York Dolls as the evening’s DJ, leading up to a blow out performance from Wolfmother.
