For the first time, users will be able to visit LiveNation.com and download widget software they can post directly to their own websites or social networking pages that will allow visitors to search for live concerts and buy tickets directly from that web location. The software is powered by LiveNation.com.
The company has also introduced a special Internet Explorer 7/Firefox Search Bar Add-in and a Live Nation Google Gadget which music fans can integrate into their custom Google search pages. These tools will allow fans to incorporate Live Nation’s powerful concert search engine into their daily web browsing activities.
The suite of new products can be found on www.livenation.com at the bottom of every page under the link marked "Concert Tools" (or at http://www.livenation.com/concerttools). The Live Nation Google Gadget can be downloaded from Google’s site or via http://www.livenation.com/googlegadget.
"These new features give more power and access to online music fans, enabling them to effortlessly search for and buy concert tickets through their own websites," said Live Nation Global Digital President Bryan Perez.
Launched one year ago, LiveNation.com has already become a leading destination for music fans as a live music search engine offering tour dates and information on artists and venues to fans around the world, as well as an important access point for concert tickets for registered ticket club members, VIP parking and club access.
