A Toronto, Ontario native, Mr. Ballard began his career with the Maple Leaf Gardens Corporation, serving as its Vice President of Corporate Development and director and alternate governor of the National Hockey League. Over the years, Mr. Ballard worked with Mr. Cohl in the live music and ticketing businesses in Canada. He was instrumental in developing the concept of the global tour and extending the global touring business into the promotion and exploitation of ancillary rights to generate incremental revenue streams. Mr. Ballard has also been active in the mining industry in Canada since 1995.
