– Fifth Brooklyn Show Added As Record-Breaking First Leg of US Tour Wraps at Barclays Center Tonight –
– Last Chance To See The Biggest Tour of The Year on December 22, 2013–Tickets on Sale Beginning Monday, August 12 –
‘She’s a song-and-dance trouper. “The Mrs. Carter Show” is a pageant of costumes — white lingerie, black leather, rhinestones, gauzy dresses, a glittery catsuit — along with choreography, fireworks and a second stage at the back of the auditorium… Every detail was in place.’ -Jon Pareles, The New York Times
‘Fun? How could it not be? The whole thing barrels ahead with such velocity, with such a relentless desire to stun, surprise and entertain every second, that you pretty much have no choice but to give in.’ -Jim Beckerman, The Record
‘It was a tightly choreographed show heavy on spectacle — confetti, explosions… but it was also big on heart and beautifully sung. She is a belter who has mastered the art of doing so on key in cavernous spaces. Without being preachy, the concert was a clever bit of entertainment that was actually about self-empowerment.’ – James Reed, The Boston Globe
