NFL Ticket Exchange Powered By Ticketmaster Kicks Off 2013 NFL Season

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Marking its sixth season of teaming up with the NFL, Ticketmaster, a division of Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV), has activated all 32 NFL teams on NFL Ticket Exchange, kicking off the 2013 season with enhanced ticketing options and greater convenience for football fans.

NFL Ticket Exchange features Ticketmaster’s “Verified by Ticketmaster” technology to ensure the authenticity of every ticket sold. The “Verified by Ticketmaster” seal signifies for fans that each ticket has been processed by Ticketmaster’s barcode transfer technology, which enables fans to receive validated, reissued tickets each with a new, unique barcode and printed with their own name – something no other resale marketplace can offer on NFL tickets. Fans will have enhanced conveniences including powerful search options and print-at-home technology allowing instant ticket download at no additional charge.

New this season, select games will offer the new TM+ feature, allowing fans to see tickets the teams have for sale alongside tickets being resold by fans. These select TM+ events feature interactive, color-coded seat maps that display all available tickets for upcoming games. TM+ is a Ticketmaster beta enhancement that provides more ticket options to fans in a safe, convenient place.

“As the country gets back to football, we are pleased to provide, through NFL Ticket Exchange, secure options for fans to purchase tickets from other ticket holders who may not be able to attend a game,” said Chris Hardart, NFL Director of Corporate Development.

“NFL Ticket Exchange continues to be the best place for fans to find NFL tickets and with the added beta feature of TM+, we are giving fans the greatest selection of NFL tickets available,” said Jared Smith, President, Ticketmaster North America. “When fans see the ‘Verified by Ticketmaster’ seal, they know they’re purchasing authentic game tickets; that’s a benefit no other resale marketplace can offer.”

Fans can access NFL Ticket Exchange online at NFL.com/TicketExchange or by calling (888) 635-5944. The NFL and its member clubs, in teaming up with Ticketmaster, launched NFL Ticket Exchange in 2008 to provide NFL ticket holders the most secure and reliable way to resell tickets.
