Live Nation Entertainment now has a controlling interest in the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, through a new partnership with Bonnaroo’s founding partners, Superfly and AC Entertainment.
Additionally, through the partnership, Live Nation owns a share of Great Stage Park, the 700-acre Bonnaroo property nicknamed “the Farm,” which is located in Manchester, Tennessee and is where the festival takes place each June.
Live Nation will make significant site investments and provide enhanced festival experiences, while Superfly and AC Entertainment will continue to be actively involved with the annual event.
Sustainability efforts, involvement with the local Manchester community and Bonnaroo Works Fund, the festival’s non-profit arm, will all continue to be a priority.
Founded in 2002, Bonnaroo is globally recognized as an iconic cultural landmark of the festival scene that celebrates the best in live music entertainment, across multiple genres.
Live Nation Entertainment welcomes Bonnaroo into its extensive festival portfolio, which includes Electric Daisy Carnival, Rock Werchter, Reading and T in the Park, amongst scores of other festivals around the world.
