Quick update for Chicago concert-goers: Live Nation and the Hollywood Casinos of Aurora and Joliet recently announced that Chicago metropolitan area’s largest outdoor amphitheater, formerly known as First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, is now called the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre!

Currently in the middle of the 2015 concert season, the Tinley Park venue is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. A diverse variety of memorable major acts have graced the stage over the years, including Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, Aerosmith and Bruno Mars. Upcoming shows will see performances by today’s biggest names, such as Jason Aldean, Van Halen, Nicki Minaj and many more. 

This amphitheater is the second Live Nation venue that Hollywood Casino will have naming rights to; in November 2014, the casino sealed a deal with Live Nation’s St. Louis venue.
