Live Nation, World’s Leading Live Entertainment Company Enters Into Long-Term Agreement To Promote And Operate Denver’s Summit Music Hall And Marquis Theatre

(DENVER, Colo. – January 9, 2018) — Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, has entered into a long-term agreement to operate and book two of Denver’s most popular music venues, the Summit Music Hall and Marquis Theater.

Combined with Live Nation’s operation of the historic 3,600 capacity Fillmore Auditorium in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, Live Nation plans to attract an increasingly robust roster of performers to the Mile-High City.

President, Live Nation, Colorado Eric Pirritt said, “We couldn’t be more excited to expand our venue portfolio with two of Denver’s best places to see live music. Both The Summit and Marquis continue to see growth year after year. With Live Nation operating and promoting these venues, the sky is the limit.”

Mike Barsch, Owner, Soda Jerk Presents said, “To have the #1 promoter in the world carry on the legacy of these two venues is flattering to say the least. The timing is right for this to happen, and I know Live Nation is going to do a great job for all the music fans in Denver.”

The 450-capacity Marquis Theater, which opened in 2006, and the 1,100-capacity Summit Music Hall, which opened in 2010, offer music fans diverse music experiences by accommodating both national touring acts and smaller shows featuring local musical talent.

Live Nation Colorado promoted over 250 events last year with shows planned in 2018 at the Fillmore Auditorium, Pepsi Center, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Paramount Theatre, Bellco Theatre, Coors Field, Sports Authority Field at Mile High and more.
