NEW ORLEANS (Feb 22, 2018) – Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment company, today announced a new three-year exclusive booking deal with BankPlus Amphitheater in Southaven, Mississippi. Live Nation has a successful track record promoting shows in Southaven and Northern Mississippi, and signing BankPlus Amphitheater bolsters the company’s presence in the region.

“Live Nation is the best in the business, and the BankPlus Amphitheater is in great hands under their leadership,” said Darren Musselwhite, the Mayor of Southaven. “With the world’s largest touring operation, Live Nation will bring more artists to Southaven than ever before, which will improve the appeal of our city for locals and tourists alike.”

The 12,500 capacity BankPlus Amphitheater opened in 2006 and has hosted hundreds of shows throughout the years, including many of the biggest names in rock, pop, and country such as Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, The White Stripes, ZZ Top, Velvet Revolver, Willie Nelson and many more.

Live Nation will maintain a satellite office in Southaven which will be operated by Doussan’s Live Nation New Orleans Regional office team.

The 2018 BankPlus Amphitheater will begin announcing its season line-up of concerts later this month.
