Live Nation (NYSE: LYV), the world’s leading live entertainment company, today announced that it has made a strategic investment in Everything Legendary, a black-owned and operated business that is the nation’s fastest-growing plant-based meat company. Through their partnership, Everything Legendary will now be the featured plant-based burger at many of Live Nation’s venues and festivals across the United States, including all House of Blues restaurants.
Launched in 2021, Everything Legendary’s success has been fueled by its ability to create plant-based food with legendary flavor, developed by a chef in a kitchen not a scientist in a lab. In just 10 months, the company has placed its products in more than 3,000 grocery stores, including Publix, Target, Safeway, Ralphs, and more.
Live Nation will also become an equity partner in Everything Legendary, investing as part of the company’s recently closed $6 million Series A funding round in February. Other investors in the round include CircleUp Growth Partners, General Mills and Mark Cuban.
“Fans create lifelong memories enjoying live music, and everything they enjoy while at the show has the potential to make that memory even better,” said Tom See, COO, Venue Nation. “By partnering with Everything Legendary we’re excited to bring plant-based items to our events so fans have even more sustainable options to choose from.”
“We’re on a mission to not just win over taste buds but also eating habits, encouraging people across the country to adopt healthier alternatives, and I’ve been especially proud that we’ve helped power this movement in the Black community where veganism is on the rise,” said Duane “Myko” Cheers, EverythingLegendary’s co-founder. “With the investment and partnership of Live Nation we’ll be serving up our amazing flavor to millions of music fans.”
This summer, fans at select Live Nation festivals, amphitheaters, clubs, and theaters across the country can expect to see Everything Legendary’s plant-based burgers on the menu. Everything Legendary products were recently featured at Broccoli City Festival in Washington D.C. and will also be available at upcoming editions of Rolling Loud Miami, Hard Summer, Roots Picnic, and EDC Orlando.
