ABOUT LUH TYLER

Wielding a wavy flow, irresistible melodies, and inventive dynamics, Luh Tyler animates bouncy anthems with undeniable unpredictability. He switches lanes seamlessly between his signature laidback cadence and airy high register, touting a style all his own. It’s why he’s quietly emerged as a vibrant voice out of his native Tallahassee, FL all before the age of 16. Growing up the youngest of three kids in “a good family,” he initially excelled on the basketball court as a point guard before picking up a mic in high school.

Inspired by local favorites Wizz Havin, Trapland Pat, L.O.E. Shimmy, and more, he started to upload music of his own. ABOUT FRIDAYY

With a voice that tugs at the heart and soul, Fridayy writes, produces, and performs songs that stand out from his contemporaries. After years of building a solid reputation with high-profile industry executives and musicians, the Philadelphia artist and multi-instrumentalist’s breakthrough arrived in 2022 as a feature on DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID,” featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend, and Jay Z. He has also written and produced for Chris Brown’s tenth studio album, Breezy (“Wheels Fall Off” featuring Lil Durk and Capella Gray and “Need You Right Here” featuring Bryson Tiller).

Born Francis LeBlanc, he learned to play several instruments at a young age — including piano, guitar, drums, trumpet, and bass, at the encouragement of his father, a Haitian immigrant and musician. Fridayy further nurtured his love for music and instrumentation in a local church choir, where he’d begin to craft his spacious and evocative sound, a blend of alternative R&B and gospel that was also inspired by his favorite acts PartyNextDoor and The Weeknd. Between 2012 and 2013, Fridayy released a steady stream of music on SoundCloud. But when that deal turned sour, Fridayy went back to the drawing board and looked elsewhere to make his mark on the industry by crafting hooks and samples using his voice, this caught the attention of music icon Timbaland who started showcasing those samples live on his Instagram. And with that spotlight of his talents the attention of multiple producers, artists, and labels all came looking to collaborate; along with a range of publishers who came looking to help get Fridayy out of his existing deal. Later, as Fridayy’s name continued to rise and after hearing his expansive and vulnerable catalog, Def Jam Records, looked to sign him to the legendary label in 2022.

ABOUT LARRY DAVID:
Larry David co-created “Seinfeld,” which debuted in 1989 and ran for nine seasons. As head writer and executive producer, the pressure of delivering a weekly show led to his abuse of anabolic steroids, which contributed to his ill-temper and shrunken testicles. In 1999, HBO aired his one hour special, “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which spawned the series. In it, he plays an incredibly gifted, loveable writer who spreads bonhomie and good cheer to everyone fortunate enough to encounter him. During one of “Curb’s” many long hiatuses, David created two new shows, “Girls” and “Orange is the New Black.” To better understand the motivation of his female characters, he began cross-dressing and moved into the Barbizon Hotel for Women. He was evicted after his true identity was uncovered when he evacuated naked from a fire started by his roommate who forgot to unplug her curling iron. After a spiritual sabbatical in Poland, he returned to the US in 2009 to star in Woody Allen’s comedy, “Whatever Works.” The movie garnered David the prestigious Gottlieb Award for “Best Actor with No Training and No Idea What He Was Doing.” Then in 2013, he co-wrote and starred in the HBO Films’ comedy, “Clear History,” elevating him to cult hero status amongst illiterates and diabetics. In 2015, he made his Broadway debut at the Cort Theater as an actor and playwright in “Fish in the Dark,” which he penned over a three-day span while sitting on the toilet. The play broke all Broadway records for most coughing by an audience during a performance. Cambridge MA, USA, January 29, 2024 – The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Environmental Solutions Initiative (MIT ESI) will conduct a comprehensive study of the live music industry’s carbon footprint, co-funded and supported by Warner Music Group (WMG), Live Nation and Coldplay. The report will suggest practical solutions to reduce the environmental impact of live music events at every level, from pubs and clubs to stadiums.

The study will kick off with an initial research phase, resulting in an Assessment Report of Live Music and Climate Change, focused on the UK and US markets which is anticipated to be completed in July 2024. This report aims to:

  • develop a comprehensive assessment of the relationship between live music and climate change.
  • identify key areas where the industry and concert goers can make tangible improvements to reduce emissions and drive planet-positive outcomes
  • provide a detailed analysis of the latest developments in green technology and sustainable practices

MIT ESI, a leading climate and environmental academic research and solutions group, will utilize its expertise and resources to recommend scientifically-informed actions and policies that can be implemented and replicated across the entire live music industry to reduce its environmental footprint and establish a sustainable future for live events.

“I’m delighted to receive support from our funders to co-create recommendations for a sustainable future in music,” said MIT Prof. John E. Fernandez, Director of the ESI. “As well as jointly funding the research, I applaud the spirit of openness and collaboration that will allow us to identify specific challenges in areas such as live event production, freight and audience travel, and recommend solutions that can be implemented across the entire industry to address climate change.”

Coldplay, who launched their current Music Of The Spheres world tour with a pledge to cut emissions by 50%, have also made a world-first commitment to manufacture all physical records for their upcoming 2024 album from recycled plastic bottles.

WMG is committed to lowering carbon emissions, reducing waste, and innovating to align with global efforts to tackle climate change. The company is already a leader innovating in physical audio product production and distribution with a large-scale release of ‘Re-Vinyl’ for Coldplay’s Music Of The Sphere’s album made of 100% recycled vinyl raw materials in 2022. To celebrate the highly anticipated Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour, Train and REO Speedwagon will take the stage at LA’s famed Whisky a Go Go nightclub on the Sunset Strip this Thursday, February 1 for an intimate sneak preview concert that is not to be missed. Notes Live, the dynamic and rapidly growing music venue and hospitality company, has selected Live Nation as the operator for the state-of-the-art Sunset Amphitheater planned for Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

With an anticipated Summer 2025 opening, the amphitheater will be designed to host major touring artists, bringing even more concerts to the state of Oklahoma. Fan experience is also a top priority, with a focus on exceptional hospitality and breathtaking outdoor views.

The City of Broken Arrow and Notes Live are developing the 12,500-capacity venue through a public-private partnership. Notes Live focuses on identifying communities with growing populations and a shortage of high-quality music and entertainment venues. Located just outside Tulsa, the venue will be adjacent to the Broken Arrow’s Events Park.

Notes Live expects to close on the property for the Broken Arrow amphitheater in Spring 2024 and expects construction to be completed for the touring season 2025. In addition to its plans for the Broken Arrow amphitheater, Notes Live, Inc. recently opened a new venue in Gainesville, GA, and announced new music and entertainment complexes in the growing markets of Colorado Springs, CO; Murfreesboro, TN; and Oklahoma City, OK.

Today, critically acclaimed K-Pop powerhouses ITZY announce their return to the global stage for ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR <BORN TO BE>, a show stopping run of electrifying performances across 18 countries in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Europe and North America this spring and summer.
